Thoth Science has received technology transfer from here, including ‘PREPARING METHOD OF LPS-TREATED ADIPOSE-DERIVED STEM CELLS CONDITIONED MEDIUM AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME’ and ‘PREPARING METHOD OF HYPOXIC-CONDITIONED MEDIUM FROM HUMAN ADIPOSE-DERIVED STEM CELLS AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CANTAINING THE SAME’. The two institutions are currently conducting research on the ‘Maximization of fibrosis inhibitory effects by utilizing the encapsulation of antifibrotic miRNA-implemented stem cell in TheraCyte’.
KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) is a renowned university in Korea for R&D in science and technology. It was established in 1971 to model a research focused university and to foster elite human resources in science and technology needed in South Korea.
Thoth Science Inc. has received technology transfer from KAIST on ‘PREPARATION METHOD OF ENDOCRINE AGGREGATE OF INSULIN-PRODUCING BETA CELLS FROM HUMAN PLURIPOTENT STEM CELLS’ and , which has been registered as the US patent. Also, Thoth Science and KAIST signed a research contract on the ‘Experiments on Human Pluripotency Stem Cell-Derived Pancreatic Islets Organoid Transplantation’ to pursue further research together.
Deep Sensing Algorithms is based in Finland. The company was formed by professionals from institutions such as the Fermilab and CERN. Their main product is the handheld coronavirus breathalyzer which analyzes Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs) in the human breath. Using a cloud based machine learning solution, it is able to return a test result deciding whether the person receiving the test is positive or negative to COVID-19.
Thoth Science partnered with DSA to bring their breathalyzer to the Korean market.
Seoul National University (SNU) Bundang Hospital begun its first treatments in 2003 and was built to address the growing need for geriatric treatment in Korea. The hospital accomplishes the function of a national medical center for adult and elderly diseases.
Thoth Science Inc. is collaborating with SNU Bundang Hospital in conducting clinical trials and research on the applications of Theracyte™.
KRICT (Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology) was established in 1976 for R&D of chemical technology in Korea. The institute focuses on the development of eco-friendly chemical process technology, high value-added green chemical materials, green convergence chemical technologies, and acquisition of new substance pipelines for disease treatment.
Thoth Science Inc. has received technology transfer from KRICT on ‘Novel Isoquinoline Derivatives, Its Preparation Method, and Prevention or Pharmacological Compositions of Autophagy-Related Diseases Containing Them as Active Ingredients‘, and signed a research contract to work on the ‘Follow-up researches on whitening-effect enhancer and liver cirrhosis medicine’.
TheraCyte, Inc. was founded in 1999 as a spin-out from Baxter Healthcare Corporation. It is based on a proprietary medical device technology to deliver cell and gene therapies, and has 20 U.S. patents and associated foreign patents or filings. The TheraCyte™ technology has been featured in over 80 scientific publications as well.
Thoth Science Inc. has made partnerships with TheraCyte Inc. to deliver the cell therapies by inserting the therapeutic cells into TheraCyte for implantation on the patients.
